Frederick Antoine Haywood, known professionally as DB Kash, is an American artist and activist. Raised in Lousiana, he embarked on his music at the age of 17 and became a member of the rap group “The Dirty Boys”.
The group would release their freshman album 36 ounces. Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances would soon see them go their separate ways. Kash remained undeterred from his goals and founded “Dirtyboy Records” with which he released three albums, Gutta Wayz 2 Get Paid, Take Dat and Take Dat Vol. 2. He would go on to kick-start his solo career in 2016 with the acclaimed mixtape It Iz Wat It Iz. Since then he has not looked back and has released a plethora of mixtapes and singles. Kash is a true businessman at heart and he lets it be known. In his own words:
“The Music Industry is a Business! My Music Is My Business!
I Take Business Serious So I Put Time, Money And Emotions Into It”
